Looking for March wedding flowers? We’ve put together a handy list of what tends to be in season during this time. However, availability is dependent on a lot of factors, including the weather, so we can’t make any guarantees.
SO, WHAT’S IN SEASON DURING MARCH?
Our top flower pick for March is Hanging Amaranthus. These cascading clusters of blooms come in both deep red and vibrant green. Amaranthus is the perfect option for trailing bouquets and centrepieces, as well as gorgeous hanging flower displays. Recently we’ve had a lot of requests for Amaranthus to be used in wedding arch displays. There’s a great example of one of these displays on our Instagram.
Another flower we get plenty of requests for in March is Lisianthus. Their ruffled layered petals add a rustic yet romantic look to any floral arrangement. Lisianthus come in colours ranging from white, to soft pink, champagne, creamy green, and deep purple. Their hardiness, colour range, and rose-like shape make Lisianthus a popular choice for wedding flowers.
Our final pick for March is Zinnia. These round blooms with their layered petals come in a range bright colours; including lots of warm Autumnal hues. An important step in choosing your wedding flowers is deciding on a colour scheme.
