Some delivery restrictions remain in place:

  • Hospitals we CAN deliver to: Mercy, Ascot, Brightside, and Waitakere.
  • Hospitals we CANNOT deliver to: Auckland City, North Shore, Middlemore.
  • Nursing Homes/Aged Care Facilities: We can now deliver to these facilities, so long as they allow us to. We ask that you please check whether or not a facility is accepting deliveries before you order.

Same-day delivery is available online to our local Silverdale/Hibiscus Coast area (not including rural addresses).

This covers the following Auckland post codes 0930, 0931, 0932, 0992, 0993, and 0794.

All orders for same-day delivery must be placed before 02:00pm. We deliver to these areas Monday to Saturday.

Next-day delivery is available online to Auckland addresses outside of our local area. The cut-off time for next day Auckland-wide delivery is 05:00pm. We deliver to these areas Tuesday-Friday.

Why do we have a cut-off time?
Our couriers come first thing in the morning to pick up our deliveries for the day, so we need to get the orders ready the night before. This is why we have an order cut-off time of 05:00pm (our closing time).

Why don’t we deliver on Mondays?
We go to the flower markets in Mt Wellington on Monday mornings. This means that we miss the morning courier run to the city and outer areas.

We charge a flat rate of NZ$15.00 for flower delivery within the Auckland Metropolitan Area, and NZ$25.00 for rural addresses. We also offer free store pick-up for all online orders.

Orders will be delivered between 9:00am and 6:00pm. Orders to business addresses will be delivered within standard business hours (Between 9:00am and 5:00pm).

If there are any problems with your delivery – e.g. damaged or non-delivered items, please contact us immediately. We will open an investigation with our courier and get you a replacement. More information can be found in our Delivery Terms & Conditions.

Delivery Terms & Conditions

By ordering flowers or gifts for delivery through our website, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions;

  • If the recipient is not home at the time of delivery, our courier will leave the flowers in what they deem to be a safe location, as well as a calling card detailing when and where the flowers were left.
  • Should our delivery person deem that there is no safe place to leave the flowers, (e.g. no dry space in winter or no shady place in summer) the flowers will be returned to our store to await re-delivery. We will contact you if this occurs.
  • If our courier cannot gain access to a property (e.g. locked gate, dog, apartment building, etc.) then they will either leave the delivery in a safe location as above, or return the flowers to our store. We will contact you if this occurs.

Should the flowers need to be redirected or redelivered, all additional costs will be passed on to the customer. For this reason, please ensure that you provide us with a correct and complete delivery address at checkout.

Lost or Damaged Orders

Any claims for damages to deliveries or non-delivered items must be brought to us within 7 days of the delivery date, so that we can take things up with our courier company. Unfortunately we cannot accept claims made any later than this.

To lodge a claim, please contact us. The Lost Flower Shed reserves the right to investigate the claim, and to attempt a re-delivery before offering a refund. If the re-delivery attempt fails, we will then offer a full refund.
