The Lost Flower Shed is a boutique florist in Silverdale, Auckland. Opened in 2018 by Anna May, a dedicated florist with over 20 years of experience. Whether you’re looking for a memorable gift for someone special, or to add that finishing touch to your home or office, we can provide the perfect flowers for the occasion.
Why ‘lost’? Back in the 70’s when the buildings at 2083 East Coast Rd were first placed on the property, the shed never arrived. It was eventually found, but the name stuck, hence ‘The Lost Flower Shed.’

We’re about 5 minutes from the Silverdale Pak’nSave, with plenty of easy access off-street parking. There’s a sign out on the roadside, so you’ll be able to spot us no matter which direction you’re coming from. Click here to get directions from Google Maps.

We deliver across the Auckland metropolitan area, from Hatfields Beach in the north to Papakura in the south, and west as far as Massey. Some rural/outer areas are excluded. To check we can deliver your order, type your delivery postcode into the box below:

Whether or not we can commit to an exact delivery time is determined on a case-by-case basis and therefore this option is not available through our website. If you have a time-specific or particularly urgent order, please call our shop on 0800 700 987 so that we can organise this for you.
Otherwise, all orders to residential addresses will be delivered before 6:00pm on your chosen delivery date. Orders to business addresses will be delivered before 5:00pm. Please indicate whether you are delivering to a business address by including the business name at checkout.
If you write a delivery time in the ‘Special Instructions’ box at checkout without checking with us first, there is no guarantee that your request will be met.

For our themed arrangements, such as the Smeg, Casper, or Camaro bouquets, the colouring, style, and value of the arrangement you receive will be the same as what is specified in the product description, although the exact flowers and foliage used may differ from what is pictured.
For any product labelled ‘Florist’s Choice’, such as our Hat Box Posies and most Gift Bundles, the flowers you receive will not be the same as what is pictured. All florist’s choice arrangements are custom made to order and could include any flowers or foliage in any colour or style. However, the value of the arrangement will still be the same.

Generally speaking, a posy contains shorter-stemmed blooms and is quite rounded and compact in shape, whereas a bouquet has longer stems and is more ‘loose’ in construction. The difference between the two lies more in shape and construction rather than actual size or quantity of flowers.
