A little about us

The Lost Flower Shed was opened in October of 2018 by 25-year floral design veteran Anna May. Whether you’re getting married or in the dog box, The Lost Flower Shed has flowers and gifts for every occasion.

Why “lost”? Back in the 70’s when the buildings at 2083 East Coast Rd were first placed on the property, the shed never arrived. It was eventually found, but the name stuck, hence “The Lost Flower Shed”.

Yes! We deliver Auckland-wide, however some conditions do apply. Visit our Delivery Information page to get the full run-down.

In order to get the most out of your flowers, we recommend following these steps:

  1. First, remove your flowers from their packaging. Re-cut the stems at an angle, a few centimeters away from the ends.
  2. Next, fill a clean vase with water and add any provided preservatives. Remove any foliage that may end up underwater.
  3. Finally, remember to keep your flowers out of direct sunlight and away from extreme heat. Avoid placing them near fresh fruit if you can. Enjoy!

We’re open weekdays from 9:30am to 5:00pm, and Saturdays from 9:00am to 12:00pm. We’re closed on Sundays.

Please note that we aren’t always available after hours or on days we are closed. 

The sooner you contact us the better, especially during busy periods, such as the summer! Two or more months prior to the date of the event is best, however we can work to a shorter time-frame if necessary.

Please note that we accept all bookings on a first-come first-served basis, and bookings are only locked-in after we’ve received your 50% deposit.
