We charge a flat rate of $15 for urban deliveries, and $20 – $25 for rural deliveries.

We also offer free click-and-collect from our Silverdale store.

Local Delivery

Same-day delivery is available to our local Silverdale/Hibiscus Coast area, as well as parts of the North Shore (not including rural addresses).

All orders for same-day delivery must be placed before 02:00pm. We deliver to this area Monday to Friday.

Our local delivery zone covers the following Auckland post codes: 0620, 0622, 0626, 0627, 0629, 0630, 0632, 0794, 0930, 0931, 0932, 0992, and 0993. Not sure what your post code is? You can find out on the NZ Post website.

Central & South Auckland Delivery

Next-day delivery is available to Auckland addresses outside of our local area, from the Harbour Bridge to Papakura.

Orders must be placed before 5pm for next-day delivery. We deliver to this area Tuesday to Friday. Need same-day delivery? We can’t make any guarantees, but give us a call on 0800 700 987 and we’ll see if there’s anything we can do. Additional charges may apply.

We do not deliver to Managed Isolation & Quarantine (MIQ) facilities.

Rural Delivery

Next-day delivery is available to rural Auckland addresses outside of our local area, with some exceptions.

Orders must be placed before 5pm for next-day delivery. We deliver to this area Tuesday to Friday.

All orders for same-day local delivery must be placed before 2:00pm.

All orders for next-day delivery must be placed before 5:00pm.

Why do we have different cut-off times?
Our non-local courier comes first thing in the morning to pick up our deliveries for the day, so we need to get the orders ready the night before. This is why we have an order cut-off time of 05:00pm (our closing time).

Unfortunately we do not take orders for time-specific deliveries through our website.

If you do have an urgent or time-sensitive order, please call us on 0800 700 987.  The more notice you can give us, the better, as chances are we will need to organise a separate courier run for you. Additional delivery charges may apply.

Otherwise, orders to residential addresses will be delivered between 9:00am and 6:00pm on your chosen delivery date. Orders to business addresses will be delivered before 5:00pm. Please indicate whether you are delivering to a business address by including the business name at checkout.

If there are any problems with your delivery – e.g. damaged or non-delivered items, please contact us immediately. We will open an investigation with our courier and get you a replacement. More information can be found in our Delivery Terms & Conditions.

Delivery Terms & Conditions

By ordering flowers or gifts for delivery through our website, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions:

If the recipient is not home at the time of delivery, our courier will leave the flowers in what they deem to be a safe location, and, if necessary, a calling card detailing when and where the flowers were left.

Should our delivery person deem that there is no safe place to leave the flowers, (e.g. no dry space in winter or no shady place in summer) the flowers will be returned to our store to await re-delivery. We will contact you if this occurs.

If our courier cannot gain access to a property (e.g. locked gate, dog, apartment building, etc.) then they will either leave the delivery in a safe location as above, or return the flowers to our store. We will contact you if this occurs.

Should the flowers need to be redirected or redelivered, all additional costs will be passed on to the customer. For this reason, please ensure that you provide us with a correct and complete delivery address at checkout.

Lost or Damaged Orders

Any claims for damages to deliveries or non-delivered items must be brought to us within 7 days of the delivery date, so that we can take things up with our courier company. Unfortunately we cannot accept claims made any later than this.

To lodge a claim, please contact us. The Lost Flower Shed reserves the right to investigate the claim, and to attempt a re-delivery before offering a refund. If the re-delivery attempt fails, we will then offer a full refund.
