Care Instructions
These beautiful flowering plants are easier to care for than most people think.
- Keep your orchid indoors somewhere warm – ideally between 24 and 30 degrees Celsius. Position your orchid somewhere with bright but indirect sunlight.
- Orchids don’t like to be over watered, so make sure to water only just enough to get the potting media damp all the way through. Water only at the base of the plant, and try not get any water in the crown of the plant. Allow to dry out almost completely before watering again.
- Humidity is key! Position your orchid away from any heaters or air conditioners, as this can cause it to dry out. You can also try misting the contents of the pot with water on very hot, dry days.
- Once your orchid stops flowering, cut the stem about 1cm above the lowest node. Phalaenopsis orchids typically bloom only once a year, so keep your orchid in a cooler part of the house while you wait for it to flower again.
A set of care instructions is included with the plant.
