Description
PEPEROMIA HOPE (Peperomia Tetraphylla)
Due to its coin-shaped leaves, Peperomia Hope is considered a good luck plant, which makes it an excellent gift. Native to Central America, these plants prefer warm temperatures and high levels of humidity. This plant is very easy to care for, making it great for houseplant beginners.
Unlike other peperomia varieties, Peperomia Hope is a trailing plant. Its thick, round leaves grow on a long trailing vine, and feature a succulent-like texture and light green stripes. Like other trailing vines, Peperomia Hope can be trained up a coir pole, or left to trail down. The young vines will first grow upwards, then will begin to trail as they mature.
Planted in a 14cm plastic nursery pot, and placed inside a 15cm ceramic cache pot, as pictured. Presented in one of our signature square gift bags with crisp white tissue, ready for gifting.
Care Advice
Peperomia Hope is an indoor pot plant, and prefers warmer temperatures, ideally between 16-26°C.
To ensure compact, healthy growth, place your Peperomia Hope somewhere with bright, indirect sunlight. If the plant beings to look out of shape you can pinch any leggy stems to create a more compact and bushy plant.
These plants are prone to root rot, so it’s important not to overwater. Allow the top part of the soil to dry out completely between waterings, and never leave your plant to sit in water.
Not toxic. Safe to have around children and pets.
